Run what runs the world.Este Puesto Reporta aEL Customer Operations ManagerIn this role, you will have the opportunity to create and complete bids, estimations, and quotations based on customer specifications, requirements, or budget to achieve market competitiveness and high margins for the company. Each day, you will maintain and improve the balance between all ABB units and customers in your area of responsibility. You will also showcase your expertise by collecting and collating the information required to prepare proposals, including both technical and cost elements.The work model for the role is: #L-hybridThis role is contributing to the ELECTRIFICATION team and Stakeholders.You Will Be Mainly Accountable For Sales support - Offers technical advice and provides comment on specifications for customers/channels/Sales Engineers regarding ABB products/systems/applications. Provides technical support during technical meetings, product presentations and negotiations. Diagnostic studies - Performs analytic and diagnostic studies to determine most suitable technical solution to meet customer needs. Proposes technical solutions for complex enquiries. Project Execution - Plans and implements multiple simultaneous electrical projects at various customer work sites in the US, including the activities of staff and subcontractors. Identifies and manages opportunities to expand projects in ways that bring value to our customer and satisfy profitability requirements, including change orders. Meets or exceeds loading targets based on team requirements. Electrical projects will be focused in the commercial construction markets and may include, but are not limited to, retail, airports, entertainment, hospitals, education (schools, colleges, universities), multi-story residential and water/waste-water treatment plants. Customer Representation - Serves as the primary customer contact for the duration of each project. May commission, resolve specification issues, handle correspondence, provide periodic updates, ensure customer satisfaction, and negotiate/coordinate with staff as appropriate. Presentations - Prepares and delivers technical presentations and demonstrations for both internal staff and customers on complex product issues. Training - Offers product/solution/service-related training to customers and other stakeholders. Technical Documentation - Prepares and checks technical documents for submittal to customers.Qualifications/RequirementsBachelor's Degree from an accredited university or collegeMinimum 5 additional year of experience in a project management, engineering or manufacturing role.Proven leadership skills and ability to effectively manage a matrix team / organization, including leading cross-cultural teamsHigh energy level, self-starter, highly analytical, and strong customer serviceStrong organizational skills with high attention to detail and sense of urgency in dealing with tasks.Experience in electrical manufacturing for switchboards, transformers, panelboards, motor control centers, and/or other electrical components.Valoramos a las personas de diferentes orígenes. ¿Podría ser ésta su historia?
