About the Role:Our client is a big hitter in the electrical contracting space, working with Tier 1 and Tier 2 builders and delivering projects ranging from $10 million to $60 million. Due to growth, we are seeking a Project Coordinator / Administrator with a minimum of 2 years’ experience to join this established industry leader in Melbourne.Key Responsibilities:Coordinate and manage all project documentation, including NDAs, confidential information, and secure documentsSupport the Project Manager with project planning, scheduling, and reportingAssist with contractor, consultant, and stakeholder communicationsTrack project milestones, deliverables, and deadlines to ensure timely completionPrepare and maintain project status reports, dashboards, and progress updatesOrganise meetings, take minutes, and follow up on action itemsLiaise with internal teams, subcontractors, and external clients to facilitate smooth project deliveryMaintain accurate records of contracts, variations, and approvalsRequirements:Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Project Coordinator, Administrator, or similar role within construction, electrical, or client-side projects (Defence, Amazon, MEP consultants, or subcontractors)Experience coordinating secure documents, NDAs, and confidential project informationStrong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneouslyExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for liaising with internal teams, contractors, and clientsProactive and able to work independently while supporting the Project ManagerFamiliarity with project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, Buildxact, Builder’s Trend, or similar)Electrical experience is a strong advantageAttention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and compliancePositive, professional, and mature approach to work, with a willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environmentFit-to-work status required; NV1 clearance is highly desirable but not essentialWhy Join:Not often do positions become available with one of the largest electrical contractors in Australia.
