Praxis are part of the Homeless Strategy preventing homelessness across the city in Newcastle upon Tyne. The post requires an enhanced DBS check as the post involves direct contact with vulnerable adults and children. The post holders will be part of a team delivering a range of social, recreational, and educational opportunities in various sites. Praxis clients have an appointed key worker and work towards agreed objectives across a range of identifies needs. Opportunities to work within a variety of methods including individual and group counselling. Praxis service has a range of activities offered to their clients and we are looking for applicants who are interested in creativity, energy and who have motivational skills. Staff work a basic 37 hour week as well as an out of hours duty system. Starting salary is £ 24,796.00 plus additional payments for on duty responsibilities and mileage allowance - multiple vacancies available.
