JOB OBJECTIVESTo design and prepare detailed working drawings for all projects, oversee and monitor all construction works, and ensure the provision of maintenance services for water systems, buildings, and roads. The role is also responsible for driving new farm development, upgrading existing farms, and maintaining all infrastructure to support operational efficiency and sustainability at IDF. KEY RESPONSIBILITIESPrepare detailed structural engineering drawings for all building projects. Produce accurate mechanical drawings for various development projects. Conduct precise site demarcations for all construction activities. Implement new farm building projects, including design, layout drawing, fabrication, and installation.
Monitor and manage contractors on-site to ensure strict adherence to specifications and quality standards. Perform regular maintenance tasks as required. Liaise with town planning authorities and other regulatory agencies to obtain necessary approvals and address compliance matters. Ensure consistent water supply to all cow barn locations and carry out repairs as needed. Perform welding tasks (argon and arc welding). Fabricate and install sandwich panel boards and execute aluminium works. Carry out masonry works, including tiling and new wall construction. Execute any other assignments as delegated by the Head of Department.
Undertake any food safety-related tasks assigned by the Head of Department or Food Safety Team Leader.
