2025-2026 Afterschool Artist

Propel seeks passionate individuals committed to providing scholars with exceptional experiences to serve as Afterschool Artists at all of our schools. All positions are contingent on enrollment and need. The latest start date for this role will be October 1st, 2025. The interview process for this position will be conducted via pre-recorded video interviews.

The Artist WillPlan and execute plans for an art activity after schoolCoordinate with the afterschool team to meet the goals of afterschoolParticipate in the Afterschool Showcase in May Supervise and engage with scholarsMaintain a culture of dignity where all staff and scholars are treated fairly and with respectComplete all required paperwork in a timely mannerEnsure that all time is clocked in to UKG dailyAttend all required staff trainings and meetingsCarry out other duties as assigned by the Director of AfterschoolQualificationsBS in Art or a related field or a combination of other trainings and education that makes the candidate eligible to carry out the positionExperience working in Propel Afterschool or Summer CampExperience working at an afterschool programExperience as a teacher or paraprofessional in a schoolExperience working in programming for at-risk populationsBelief in a culture of dignity for scholars and staffLocations/Hours:
