2025-2026 Afterschool Substitute Classroom Lead

Propel seeks passionate individuals committed to providing scholars with exceptional experiences to serve as Afterschool Classroom Leads at all of our schools. All positions are contingent on enrollment and need. The latest start date for this role will be October 1st, 2025.

The interview process for this position will be conducted via pre-recorded video interviewsThe Substitute Classroom Lead WillSupervise and engage with scholarsMaintain a culture of dignity where all staff and scholars are treated fairly and with respectComplete all required paperwork in a timely mannerEnsure that all time is clocked in to UKG dailyEnsure that all activities are carried out as scheduled with appropriate supervisionAttend all required staff trainings and meetingsServe as a liaison with parents and regular day staff and administrationCarry out other duties as assigned by the Director of AfterschoolQualificationsS. or M. in Education or a related field or a combination of other trainings and education that qualify the candidate for the positionExperience working in Propel Afterschool or Summer CampExperience working at an afterschool programExperience as a teacher or paraprofessional in a schoolExperience working in programming for at-risk populationsBelief in a culture of dignity for scholars and staffLocations/Hours: Hours will vary depending on needed substitute coverage. All Afterschool programs meet Monday-Thursday at the following locations:
