Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Property Administrator to support the day-to-day operations of our property management team. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for providing top-notch customer service to tenants and property owners.ResponsibilitiesCustomer ServiceAddress tenant inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring a high level of satisfactionManage lease agreements, renewals, and move-in/move-out processes with professionalismBuild and maintain positive relationships with tenants to foster a sense of communityFinancial ManagementAssist with rent collection, and processing of paymentsPrepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports for assigned propertiesMonitor accounts receivable and follow up on overdue payments in accordance with company policiesMaintenance CoordinationCoordinate maintenance requests, ensuring timely communication with tenants and vendorsLiaise with contractors and service providers to schedule repairs and ensure quality workConduct regular property inspections to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety standardsAdministrative DutiesMaintain organized records, including lease documents, tenant correspondence, and property reportsSupport marketing efforts by updating property listings and assisting with tenant outreachEnsure compliance with local landlord-tenant laws and regulationsTeam CollaborationWork closely with the property management team to streamline operations and improve processesProvide administrative support for property-related projects and initiativesContribute to a positive team environment by sharing insights and best practicesQualifications & SkillsCollege diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in business, real estate, or related field preferred1-3 years of experience in property management, real estate, or administrative roles is preferred, but candidates passionate about property management are also welcomeTravel to the property two to three times per week is required; a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are necessary for these visitsBilingual is an assetStrong proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software (Yardi) is a plusExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused mindsetAbility to multitask, prioritize, and work independently in a fast-paced environmentKnowledge of local landlord-tenant laws and regulations is a plusPowered by JazzHRnc9nB147uw
