Job Title: Property Manager for a Commercial space Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive, persuasive, and highly organised Property Manager to oversee all aspects of leasing, tenant relations, salesmanship, and facility management at Masterpiece. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales orientation, excellent documentation skills, and the ability to coordinate multiple ongoing activities—from leasing and negotiations to maintenance follow-ups and third-party vendor coordination. Ability to write VERY well in English is paramount.Salary Range: RWF 450,000-750,000 Net salary.Pre-requisites:Strong written and oral command in English is criticalMature, clear-minded, and determined individual The ability to multitask, and demonstrate sound judgment is absolutely required.Confident, mature, and persuasive communicator with a professional demeanor.Excellent with Google Sheets & Google Drive.Responsibilities:Lead efforts to acquire new tenants, including prospecting, property tours, negotiations, and finalising lease terms (have the network to successfully close Tenants)Prepare and manage all tenancy-related documentation, including offers, tenancy agreements, renewal letters, notices, and correspondence.Maintain accurate digital and physical records for all tenants, ensuring full compliance and easy traceability.Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants, addressing inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and professionally.Oversee and coordinate facility maintenance, ensuring timely completion of works and upkeep of all systems (coordinating with Maintenance engineer, Cleaning team, Third party providers)Liaise with contractors, vendors, and service providers for quotations, project execution, and verification of works completed.Monitor rent payments, security deposits, and other dues, ensuring timely follow-up and reporting to management.Conduct regular inspections of the property to ensure cleanliness, functionality, and aesthetic presentation.Support management with budgeting, reporting, and market analysis to guide rental rate reviews and occupancy strategies.Prepare periodic performance and occupancy reports for senior management.Uphold high presentation standards for all commercial spaces to attract quality tenants.Qualifications:Degree in Business Administration, Engineering or Real Estate Management, or a related fieldStrong experience in property leasing, management, or facility coordinationExcellent written communication, data organization, and administrative documentation skillsConfident personality with a proven ability to negotiate and close deals.Proficiency in computer-based tools (Google Sheets, Google Docs, Drive).Soft Skills:Organisational and time management skills.Adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines.How to Apply: Candidates interested in this role should submit their resume and a cover letter, along with a video introducing themselves and explaining why they are suited for this position, to hr@sarafrica.com. Serious Candidates Only.
