We aim to provide “best value” services andfacilities to the community whilst ensuring a sustainable future and are committed to creating a thoughtful, protective and inclusive community that supports children and young people to feel empowered, safe and protected.If you are open to fresh ideas, committed to progressing new initiativesand driven to provide the very best service to our community, we want to hearfrom you.About The RoleCommencing in January 2026, You will be responsible for assisting the General Manager’s Unit in achieving its objectives and actions within the Delivery and Operational Plan and to assist with the effective and efficient management of Council’s property asset portfolio, leases and licensing.About YouTheSuccessful Candidate Will HaveTertiary Qualifications in Property, Real Estate, Valuation, Land Economics or related disciplines.Experience in property management and asset management, including the ability to manage a property portfolio, or a related field including preparation and management of leases/licences.Experience in asset management and strong analytical skills with the ability to produce clear, evidence-based reports.Knowledge and experience in interpreting and understanding legal documents such as contracts, leases, licences and land title and subdivision details.Demonstrated commercial acumen and negotiating skills.Demonstrated knowledge of Council property responsibilities under legislation such as the Local Government Act 1993, the Crown Lands Act 1989 and the Roads Act 1993.What We OfferWe hire great people with a wide variety of skills,experience and backgrounds maintaining always that inclusion and diversity lieat the heart of what we do.
