Our international team continues to deliver innovative clinical trial solutions across diverse therapeutic areas, ensuring the success of every study we manage.The roleWe are looking for an experienced Proposals and Contracts Manager to join our growing team. As a Proposal and Contracts Manager at Southern Star, you’ll work in an exciting and fast-paced environment, ensuring that client requests are appropriately addressed throughout the proposal process.The position is a full-time remote position, with flexibility to be based in Malaysia or the Philippines.Reporting to the Head of Proposals and Contracts, you’ll be responsible for:Preparation of new project proposals and contractual documents, including Master Service Agreements and Work Orders.Working collaboratively with the business development team, strategy team, heads of department and operational teams to ensure that client requests are appropriately addressed within the proposalLiaising with the finance team to oversee timely invoicing and accurate project finance trackingSupporting the Head of Projects and Project Managers to ensure compliance with contract proceduresAttendance at bid defence meetings as neededAccurate tracking of change orders within the CRMLeadership of change in scope meetings, actioning follow-up items as requiredTo be successful in the role, we’re looking for candidates with:Appropriate tertiary qualifications in the medical, pharmaceutical or healthcare disciplines.A minimum of 5 years' proposals experience within a CRO environmentProven track record in the development and management of budgetsAdvanced skills in Microsoft ExcelThe ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced environment with competing projects and deadlines, whilst maintaining excellent attention to detailStrong customer service, interpersonal and communication skillsExcellent judgement and problem-solving skills;Demonstrated business ethics and integrity;Why Southern Star?Join a passionate team committed to our shared purpose to create brighter futures, one study at a time.Exciting growth phase, creating ongoing career development opportunities for our teamsCompetitive remunerationSTAR day - one extra day off per year for you to recharge.Diversity, Equity and InclusionAt Southern Star Research, we are committed to fostering a safe, inclusive, and respectful workplace where everyone feels valued and empowered to contribute.
