As a Prototype Buyer (m/f/d) for Direct Material, you will be responsible for sourcing and managing components used in our engines within your assigned R&D scope. Through strong negotiation skills, market understanding, and supplier management, you will play a key role in strengthening BRP-Rotax’s innovation and global competitiveness.Your ResponsibilitiesPurchasing of direct materials within the assigned R&D responsibility areaMaintenance of system and master data in the operating systemExecution of the request-for-quotation and offer processSelection, management, and development of suppliersIndependent price negotiations for tools and componentsAnalysis of new procurement markets and technologiesConducting benchmark analysesClose collaboration with internal departments such as Engineering, Quality, and LogisticsYour profileCommercial or technical education or University of Applied Sciences degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or EngineeringMinimum of 3 years of professional experience in procurementStrong negotiation and problem-solving skillsTeam-oriented, reliable, and proactive with a structured way of workingExcellent intercultural communication skills and commitment to high performanceGood command of English (written and spoken), German is an advantageWe offerYou will be offered an exciting position in an international company with many interesting benefits and diverse development opportunities.
