SummaryMorgan & Morgan is seeking a Provider Relations Coordinator who is responsible for developing, maintaining, and servicing high quality, marketable and satisfied provider network within an assigned geographic area. This individual will act as a primary resource for designated providers and groups to establish and maintain positive relationships by assisting with/or responding to complex issues as it relates to our clients’ requirements and lien resolutions. The Provider Relations Coordinator serves as the point of contact between multiple medical providers and Morgan and Morgan. This position is expected to build and sustain strong working relationships with cross functional departments and assigned long term care and healthcare providers. ResponsibilitiesCommunicate with multiple internal departments to determine medical provider relationships that currently exist in defined territory Identify and fulfill service offering gaps Develop a best practices strategy for defined territoryCollaborate and partner with multiple departments, including but not limited to Marketing, Futures, and Client Advocacy on polices, processes and operations in order to develop solutions for strategic business needsProvide ongoing, professional, and effective touchpoints with medical providersReceive, respond, and troubleshoot external provider related issuesService as lien resolution manager: Review, negotiate and resolve medical liens with medical providers and/or insurance companies per Attorney direction Utilize the database system by inputting accurate and detailed field contact notes of provider-related database informationTravel across multiple facilities, build relationships with staff/doctors and act as the point of contact between the firm and medical providers of varying specialties and vendor typesAccountable for communicating importance of major milestones in treatment and ensure these expectations are metGather, track and generate reports on KPIs as needed Serve as the principal liaison between internal departments and healthcare providersDevelop and maintain comprehensive understanding of healthcare market trends and communicate opportunities to appropriate management/staff in a timely manner and on a regular basisConduct effective customer sales meetings and contract negotiation discussionsEducate new team members as to best practices Additional ad hoc responsibilities as requested QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Communication or related degree and three (3) years of relevant experience or a combination of education, training and experience in a law firm setting (preferably Personal Injury)Subject matter expert with direct experience in medical lien resolution Sales/marketing specific background with focus on consultative selling and relevant healthcare experience preferredExcellent organizational skills and ability to effectively collaborate and negotiate with a variety of internal and external professionals (such as physicians, medical office staff, administrative staff of nursing homes and home care agencies, etc.)Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)Detail oriented with ability to “shift gears” and prioritize multiple demandsSelf-driven with strong problem solving, analytical, strategic and time management skillsOutstanding presentation, written and verbal communication skills and the ability to discuss complex issues concisely to multiple audience levelsAbility to work in a high pressure, fast paced environmentAbility to travel as needed (up to 75%)Bilingual (preferred) Hiring Range: $65,000-75,000/year BenefitsMorgan & Morgan is a leading personal injury law firm dedicated to protecting the people, not the powerful.
