PSA BDP serves over 5,000 customers, including some of the world's leading multinational companies within the chemical, retail & consumer, life sciences & pharmaceuticals, and electric vehicle & industrial verticals. Summary of position: The Operation / Executive - Logistics is responsible for the daily operation and customer service activities for the assigned customers. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES (by Task Allocation): Responsible for the export operations and customer service of chemical products (including dangerous goods) by sea for a major client, including: Communicate with local customers and handle domestic shipping matters. Arrange shipping schedules, customs declaration, trucking, warehouses, etc.
according to customer instructions and contract prices, and submit work reports as required. Communicate promptly with customer service personnel associated with overseas branches or agents and hand over documents. Communicate and arrange all the details of shipment with domestic customers, agents and shipping companies, and solve any unexpected problems that arise. Complete other tasks assigned by superiors. Job RequirementsAcademic Qualifications/Experiences: College/University Graduates, preferably major in Logistics or related field. Minimum 3 years’ operation or customer service experience in international freight forwarding industryKnowledge/Skills:
Knowledge of Shipping & Documentation including Proforma/Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bank Draft , COA, CO, Insurance Certificate, etc. Understanding of common INCOTERMS and Customs regulationsFamiliar with Shipment Modes/TypesKnowledge of Trade net Declaration for Import & ExportUnderstanding of L/C Terms & Bank NegotiationGood communication & interpersonal skillsGood Microsoft Office Skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc. )Good English and Chinese SkillAttitudes: Positive with a can-do attitudeEnthusiastic with a strong interest to learnIndependent and ability to work under tight timelineStrong sense of responsibilityDiligent and good team work sprit Please note: There is no relocation or immigration assistance associated with this opening.
