Duration: January 2026 – July 2026 (6 months) Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia Type: Part-time (4 days a week) TRC (The Recovery Center) is launching a specialised Supervised Psychology Training Programme for recent master’s-level psychology graduates who are looking to gain practical experience in community mental health settings. This 6-month programme offers a structured pathway to develop real-world counselling skills while providing free mental health services to underserved communities through our partner charity organisations.About the Programme As one of our three selected trainees, you will:Provide psychological support within a charity organisation in Riyadh.Work three full days per week, assigned based on partner needs.Conduct sessions on-site at the partner charity.Receive weekly clinical supervision and training from TRC’s senior clinicians (1 to 2 days per week). Participate in professional development workshops and case discussions.Gain hands-on experience that is not typically accessible in private practice settings.This programme is designed to help you build core therapeutic skills, clinical confidence, and community experience. An essential foundation for your future practice as a mental health professional.Key Responsibilities:Provide structured psychological counselling sessions to assigned clients.Maintain accurate case notes and follow ethical documentation procedures.Collaborate with TRC supervisors and charity partners to ensure continuity of care.Attend weekly supervision meetings and training workshops.Uphold strict standards of confidentiality and ethical practice.Contribute to community-focused mental health support initiatives.Candidate Requirements Essential:Master’s degree in Psychology (Clinical, Counselling, or related field).Strong academic background in psychological theory and basic counselling skills.Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic.Commitment to ethical standards and an interest in community mental health.Availability from January to July 2026.Professionalism, reliability, and openness to supervision and feedback.Preferred:Prior volunteer or internship experience (clinical, school, community, or wellbeing support).Interest in trauma-informed, evidence-based, or community psychology work.Familiarity with note-taking, case formulation, or basic counselling frameworks.What you will gain: Practical client-facing experience in a real clinical setting.Weekly clinical supervision from TRC clinicians.Exposure to ethical, community-based mental health work.A completion certificate from TRC Riyadh & London documenting your training hours.
