You'll help us make a difference while making some great connections and friendships along the way.The primary purpose of this position is to consolidate e-commerce orders into complete orders and load all totes, in order, onto delivery trucks.Duties And ResponsibilitiesMerges customer orders from dry, bulk, chill, and freezer to form create complete ordersLoads completed orders onto correct delivery truck based on routingEnsures order accuracy and gel packs/dry ice are present to protect cold chainExcellent interpersonal skillsWorks independently with minimal direction/supervisionSelf-motivated with a willingness to take initiativeCustomer-oriented attitudeDemonstrates the company's values of CARE, INTEGRITY, TEAMWORK, COURAGE, and HUMORPerforms other duties as assignedQualificationsMust be authorized to work in the U.S.Must be able to communicate and understand company policies and safety regulations in order to complete job duties in a satisfactory manner.Must meet the ergonomic and physical requirements, as well as the physical base scores for this position, with or without reasonable accommodation.Must meet the company performance standards for the job including but not limited to regular attendance.Must be able to use, or learn to use, the equipment and tools used to perform this job.Must wear the proper clothes, shoes, and other protective equipment as assigned for this job.Physical RequirementsShift Hours: Minimum 4-hour shifts or more depending upon business needsJob Cycles: Continual MaxLift/carry: 50 lbs.Stand 55%, Sit 0%, Walk 45%Category IV: Lifting, carrying, P/P up to 50 lbs.Max Pull static: 20 lbs.Temperatures ranging from freezer environment to back room that is not air-conditioned - exposure to weather conditionsPreferred RequirementsTeam members are responsible for understanding company policy and procedures as stated in the policy and procedure manual and the team member handbook.The GIANT Company is an equal opportunity employer.
