YOUR MISSION: This is a regional role responsible for coordination among various country finance heads. Task 1:
Financial Consolidation, Analysis & InsightsConsolidated month-end closing results for SEA & Oceania, delivering analytical reviews and insightful commentary for regional and global stakeholders. Conducted deep dives into significant variances by collaborating with country finance teams and providing actionable explanations to Global Finance. Monitored KPIs against budget, escalated deviations, and tracked country-level action plans. Handled spontaneous inquiries from Global with fast turnaround time. Task 2: Reporting Standardization & Process ImprovementStandardized reporting structures, templates, and commentary to enhance clarity and consistency. Identified gaps in reporting processes and led initiatives to improve accuracy, consistency, and efficiency.
Leveraged Hyperion HFM and other reporting tools to support and troubleshoot for country teams. Task 3. Budgeting, Forecasting & Strategic PlanningDesigned budget and forecast templates, consolidated submissions and prepared executive presentations for senior leadership. Developed and implemented a centralized rolling forecast process to provide timely, consistent updates to Global. Played a key role in designing the FP&A operating model in line with the shift to a centralized planning structure. Task 4. Regional Governance & Cross-functional LeadershipTook ownership of regional and cross-functional finance projects to ensure timely execution and strategic alignment. Designed and established a controllership organization to strengthen financial governance and accountability.
Acted as the key liaison between local finance teams and Global HQ. YOUR TALENT: Education: Bachelor's degree in finance & accounting / certified public accountant/ chartered accountantProfessional: 8–10 years of experience across FP&A, controllership, and commercial finance, ideally within the retail or FMCG industry with regional exposure.
