Purchase Executive

Job DescriptionJob Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sr Purchase Executive to manage the procurement of technical and engineering-related goods and services. The ideal candidate will work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely, cost-effective, and quality procurement that meets project requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesSource, evaluate, and select suppliers based on technical and commercial criteria.Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and bill of materials (BOM) to identify purchasing needs.Obtain and analyze quotations, negotiate terms, and finalize purchase orders.Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials to support production and project timelines.Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with stores for replenishment.Evaluate supplier performance in terms of quality, cost, delivery, and compliance.Coordinate with the quality and engineering departments for technical approvals and vendor assessments.Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation in ERP systems.Identify opportunities for cost reduction and supply chain optimization.Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulatory requirements.Qualifications And SkillsBachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field).2 to 4+years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering industry.Strong technical understanding of engineering components, drawings, and specifications.Familiarity with SAPExcellent negotiation and communication skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Knowledge of sourcing strategies and vendor management.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Skills: procurement,specifications,bill of materials,communication,compliance,skills,project,materials,suppliers
