This is an exciting opportunity in a newly built, modern environment.About The RoleTo the Nordic purchasing organization we are now looking for a Purchase Planner to join our Nordic Purchasing team located at our new production unit, Nobia Park, in Jönköping. As a Purchase Planner, you play a key role in the flow of materials into our factories. You’ll be responsible for maintaining optimal inventory levels through purchase order planning and proactive follow-up on supplier performance.A few words from Hiring Manager-Magnus Johansson:“In the Nordic purchasing organization located at Nobia Park in Jönköping, we work on optimizing inventories and purchasing materials to support Europe’s most modern kitchen factory, as well as the entire Nordics. We use the latest version of SAP to support us. We work as a team and support each other, also in close cooperation with purchasers located at our other Nordic sites.”Your main tasks:Plan for inventory optimization and material purchasing with a focus on total cost and service level.Plan and create purchase orders according to defined agreements.Collaborate closely with both the local and regional logistics organizations.Develop strong relationships with stakeholders involved in material purchasing.Contribute to developing supplier collaboration together with our strategic purchasing organization.Work proactively to ensure defined delivery performance from suppliers.Since we’re on a transformation journey, you’ll have great opportunities to influence future processes. We welcome your growth in the role and the challenges it brings.About YouTo succeed in this role, we believe you bring: A university degree in logistics, supply chain, or a related field. Experience working in a production environment, along with an interest in continuous improvement and a curiosity about how you can contribute to process development. Good understanding of planning processes from both a practical and ERP system perspective (experience from SAP is a plus!) Understanding how your purchasing decisions affect other parts of the businessAs a person we’re looking for someone who has a genuine interest in purchasing and planning. You’re a team player who easily builds relationships and isn’t afraid to ask questions or to challenge when needed. You are curious, engaged, and eager to help shape future ways of working in the Nordics.
