Purchase Specialist

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Specialist to manage the procurement of materials, supplies, and services essential to our operations. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, solid understanding of supply chain processes, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, cost-efficiency, and timely delivery.Key Responsibilities:Source, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors to secure the best prices, quality, and delivery terms.Prepare and process purchase orders and other procurement documents.Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues related to quality, delivery, or invoicing.Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information.Collaborate with internal departments to identify purchasing needs and ensure materials availability.Analyze market trends and supplier conditions to identify cost-saving opportunities.Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.Minimum [2–3] years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.Strong negotiation and communication skills.Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).Excellent organizational and analytical skills.Attention to detail and ability to multitask under pressure.Preferred Skills:Knowledge of import/export procedures (if applicable).Experience in supplier quality evaluation and cost analysis.Certification in procurement (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) is a plus.Why Join Us:Competitive salary and benefits package.Supportive and collaborative work culture.Opportunities for professional growth and training.
