Location(s): Toluca Distribution Center (CDR)Job Schedule: Full-time, HybridEducation Requirement: Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Finance, Business, Accounting, a related major, or equivalent job training.Shape the Future of Mobility at Nissan: Launch Your Career, Drive InnovationWe are currently looking for a Purchasing Analyst 1 to join our team in Toluca Distribution Center (CDR). Utilizes computer-based systems to coordinate, monitor, track, and report for purchasing production parts section. Analyzes data and related processes, making recommendations for improvement when possible. Assists managers and buyers by identifying parts needing action, initiates action, and tracks progress; to include cost, and sourcing documents. Interfaces with other departments to ensure necessary documents/data are in place to help assist mangers and buyers meet required actions.A Day in the Life: Maintains, updates, and reports status on various reports; daily, weekly, monthly, or on an annual basis for assigned section, prepared for department or upper management. Coordinates activities for the section to ensure deadlines are met and that replies are given when due; such as TEMP POs, Sourcing Status, project management, etc. Supports the department cost forecasting tool (CFP) by running reports and assisting in the maintenance thereof. Supports department (US and Mexico) in other activities areas as needed; Sr. Manager, Managers and buyers. As necessary, performs other related duties of which the above are representative. Who We're Looking for:Required:Education requirements: Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Finance, Business, Accounting, a related major, or equivalent job training. 6 months or more of related experience at a professional level through internship, co-op or full-time employment. Knowledgeable of purchasing process. Reporting knowledge. Computer Skills: Knowledgeable of MS Excel, PowerPoint, Access, other PC applications, and mainframe applications is necessary. English (Intermediate- Advanced)Ability to perform work onsite at Toluca. Desired:Cost reporting and vehicle development cycle knowledge. Tableau- desirable.
