If you are looking to be part of a fast-growing company, and enjoy the airline industry, then we want to talk with you!Job descriptionAs a Purchasing Assistant, you will become part of a global dynamic team, whose job is to ensure Leki Aviation has the right products, at the right time and at the right cost. The day-to-day tasks of a Purchasing Assistant include negotiating, purchasing and follow-up on orders with our principals, inventory management, negotiating and organizing freight solutions with our partners, and handling enquiries from many internal and external stakeholders.TasksMonitoring and replenishment of minimum inventory levels, based on forecasting and current demand. Updates and follow-up on orders ensuring timely deliveries.Organizing freight solutions, and approval of freight invoices. Evaluating and handling of non-conformities, for incoming products, and customer returns. Exchange, Repair and AOG ordersHandling of custom clearances and related enquiries. Desired skills and experienceAviation experience is an advantage but not a requirement. Min. 4 years' experience in a purchasing & logistics role, and, or a degree in purchasing/supply chain management. Fluent English verbally and written communication. Understanding of documentation, attention to detail. Good interpersonal communication skills. Excellent attendance and dependability. Good interpersonal and multi-tasking skills are required, you work well independently as well as in a team environment.
