Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Purchasing Officer based in Athens, Greece. The Purchasing Officer will oversee and coordinate procurement activities, including managing purchasing processes, preparing purchase orders and requisitions, and negotiating contracts. The role also involves ensuring cost-efficient practices, maintaining vendor relationships, and analyzing purchasing trends to support operations effectively. Qualifications Proficiency in Purchasing Processes, Purchase Orders, and Purchase RequisitionsStrong skills in Contract Negotiation and vendor managementAnalytical Skills for monitoring procurement trends and ensuring cost efficiencyExcellent organizational and communication skillsFamiliarity with the hospitality or restaurant industry is a plusProficiency in relevant software (e.g., ERP systems) is beneficialBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
