Job Description

We are looking for a Purchasing Officer to join our client’s procurement team. Together with your colleagues, you will be responsible for the complete operational execution and follow-up of purchasing processes in accordance with public procurement regulations. You will ensure the timely and accurate handling of service requests, contract administration, and time registration processes, while keeping all stakeholders informed throughout the workflow.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the functional mailboxes related to purchasing and timesheets, ensuring correct distribution and handling of requestsOversee the end-to-end process of approved service requests, from publishing vacancies to closing them once filledHandle the full administrative follow-up of procurement files in close collaboration with colleagues, ensuring all requests are processed accurately and on time in the relevant systems (SAP SBP)Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure correct and complete information is collected for each dossierProcess account and asset requests for consultants to ensure smooth onboarding and offboarding (SAP SBP)Prepare reports (KPI and timesheet reporting) on request using Excel and AccessPerform quality checks within the internal procurement database (Access)Manage all timesheet entries and approvals within the organization (SAP CATS)Ensure monthly deadlines for timesheet closure are respected and communicate updates to all relevant partiesSend finalized timesheets to suppliers within the agreed deadlinesDepending on workload, participate in internal projects related to procurement process improvementProfile & RequirementsMinimum 2 years of experience as a Purchasing Officer or in a procurement-related roleProven experience with SAP modules SBP and CATSStrong knowledge of MS Office tools, particularly Excel and AccessExperience with Recruitee or similar recruitment/purchasing platforms is an advantageBackground in an IT environment is a plusExcellent communication skills in Dutch, French, and English (spoken and written)At least 2 years of experience processing and managing time registrationsAbility to work precisely, respect deadlines, and coordinate multiple administrative workflows efficientlyStrong sense of ownership, organization, and reliabilityWhy Join Our Client?Opportunity to work in a structured and dynamic environment focused on operational excellenceCollaborative team culture where accuracy and efficiency are keyInvolvement in a wide range of procurement and administrative processesHybrid working model with flexibility and stability
