This is not simply our job, it’s our passion.With stunning resorts located across the globe and exciting expansion planned, Kerzner International currently has a fantastic opportunity for a Purchasing Officer to join One&Only finance team at One&Only Royal Mirage Resort in Dubai.With the global growth of our brands, you will be an integral part of the Resort’s success, and your role goes beyond developing potential relationships with our guests and colleagues. Where you will be responsible for conducting duties in the assigned place of work and provide a courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service consistent with One&Only standards policies & procedures in order to maximize efficiency, productivity and cost effectiveness of the purchasing section.Key Duties And Responsibilities Process Purchase Requisitions: All the PRs raised in the system should be processed within the stipulated time frame. To coordinate & assist the respective user departments as regards their day to day requirements. Obtaining Quotes: As per the specifications requested by the user department, quotes should be obtained from various suppliers to ensure goods & services are obtained at the best price prevailing in the market. The supplier should be chosen after a comparative study on the basis of the price, quality, lead time etc. Process Purchase Orders: Ensure all approved purchase orders are properly & correctly dispatched via e-mail to the respective suppliers. Follow up with the suppliers for the delivery status of the goods & services as per the PO dispatched. Also ensure, the supplier acknowledges the receipt of the PO. To assist Purchasing Manager in obtaining the relevant details, samples and quotations from the vendors.
