Position SummaryVP Finance position exists to manage the company wide Finance, Risk management and Legal functions for both Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein brands.

This position is responsible for the above-mentioned processes as well as to support the company level projects and the strategic planning processes/sales operation planning processes by working closely with Asia CFO & Senior leaders in Regional Finance as well as President and Senior leaders in Japan management team.

Key Priorities Of This Role Are To Be an effective business partner to the business such as President, each Head of function in Japan to contribute to achieve the sustainable growth and deliver the financial results, and a gate keeper to ensure all activities taken place in PVH Japan are in compliance with the PVH guidelines as well as external laws and regulations.

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities Of The JobManage the entire finance functions including FP&A/Commercial, General Accounting, Retail Accounting and Tax/Treasury teams as well as risk management/legal functions and processes in PVH JapanLead and facilitate the finance area in the strategic planning and the sales operation planning processes, which include 3 year plan/Budget and Quarterly/Monthly/Weekly operating planWork closely with President in Japan and Head of functions as a business partner to develop the strategy and support to execute the action plansSupport the company-wide projects, mainly focusing on the X-functional and X-border projects such as the system development, the strategic initiatives for future business growthManage the relationship with the external parties such as banks, leasing companies, audit firm, lawyers, business/system consultants, etc.

Work closely with the Regional Finance, Risk management and Legal teamsSupervisory ResponsibilitiesDirect: Senior Director FP&A, Director Corporate Finance, Risk managerThe entire team members are approximately 19 individuals to manage.

Success FactorsManage the entire company’s budget/3 year planning processesClosely and timely communicate to Regional team for the critical mattersExcellent accountability for the key metrics in reportsWork under pressureAssertive, self- initiative, ability to work individually with minimum supervisionWork flexibly in various ad-hoc requirementsWork as a team by demonstrating sound leadershipEstablish the solid relationship with key stakeholders in other functions and regional teamsPriority settingMaintain positive and proactive attitude when facing challenging or troublesome issuesDemonstrate high performance in situation with high pressureCommunicate effectively and maintain healthy relationship with all internal / external stakeholders and partnersMaximize the team’s output by properly managing and coaching the team members.

Fairly evaluate the team members and offer feedback / coaching in accordance with the company’s guidanceExecute multiple tasks simultaneously in calm and organized mannerQualifications & Experience15-20 years or more working experience in Finance function at Multinational Company (experience in the retail/apparel industry desirable)Written and oral English that must be practical to communicate with overseas counterparts (TOEIC 900 or more) and good presentation skill in EnglishIn depth knowledge of USGAAP (IFRS) and JGAAP as well as Tax law in JapanCPA and/or MBA desirableExperience/Knowledge of SAP advantagePVH Corp.
