Over the last 20 years our commitment to innovative technology has earned the trust of more than 1,700 organizations, governments, and institutions globally, solidifying our role in protecting the world's critical infrastructure and securing our way of life.What You Will Be DoingCollaborate with a young, dynamic, and innovative team.Develop cutting-edge cloud security products.Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in Python (and occasionally PHP), improving our codebase in meaningful ways.Build and enhance backend systems and APIs using modern Python frameworksContribute to software development processes, architecture design, and best practices.Work on distributed systems that handle large-scale global operations.Implement and maintain frontend components using Angular, ensuring seamless integration with backend services.Test, debug, and document system code and architecture.Collaborate with team members and other internal teams to analyze and resolve issues.Analyze production traffic to identify potential flaws, bottlenecks, or inefficiencies.Learn and share knowledge with the team through collaborative discussions and code reviews.What We Need From You2-4 years of professional experience in backend development with Python.Experience with one or more Python web frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.Solid understanding of backend architecture, design patterns, and best practices.Hands-on experience with SQL or NoSQL databasesBasic familiarity with AWS or another cloud provider.Understanding of scalability challenges and experience building performant distributed applications.Experience working with Docker and Linux environments.Familiarity with algorithms, data structures, and backend performance considerations.Enthusiasm for solving complex problems in an elegant and principled manner.A team-oriented mindset with a passion for collaboration, learning, and teaching.Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile development environment.Clear and concise communication skills, with the ability to explain technical challenges and solutions effectively.Fluent in English.Nice to HaveExperience with PHP or modern JavaScript/TypeScript (Node.js, NestJS) backends.Familiarity with Angular or other modern frontend frameworks.Experience with Redis or similar in-memory data stores.Exposure to unit, integration, or load testing.Experience working on large-scale cloud services.Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs.Contributions to or a strong interest in open source projects
