You will work on designing, building, and maintaining scalable software solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to the full software development lifecycle.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, test, and maintain high-quality Python applications and services Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver robust solutions Integrate applications with internal and third-party APIs Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize performance across systems Participate in code reviews, knowledge-sharing, and continuous improvement Contribute to architectural and technical decisions Follow best practices for version control, CI/CD, testing, and deployment Required Skills & QualificationsStrong proficiency in Python (3.x) Understanding of software development principles and best practices Experience with at least one Python framework (e.g., Django, Flask, FastAPI) Familiarity with relational or NoSQL databases Knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices (experience depth varies by level) Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a remote environment Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Hands-on DevOps exposure (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines) Experience in designing scalable architectures Strong understanding of testing frameworks (PyTest, UnitTest) Ability to mentor junior developers Experience with asynchronous frameworks (e.g., FastAPI, asyncio) Knowledge of data engineering or machine learning pipelines Familiarity with GitOps, IaC tools (Terraform), or event-driven systems Contributions to open-source projects Must have valid UK work authorization
