Work Setup: RemoteContract: Full timeEquipment provision: BYODSchedule: 9 pm to 6 am MNL timeTarget Start: ASAPWe have an excellent opportunity for a QA Automation Engineer to join our growing team. You will work with a group of talented developers, building out any software the company requires. You will work on all aspects of the test suite, such as developing new features, writing tests, and updating the CI/CD pipeline. We’re looking for developers who value their soft skills as much as their technical ones and are eager to help with technical problems.What does a day in the life as a QA Automation Engineer look like?Write automated tests using Playwright, Appium, Postman or other test frameworks to identify software problemsMaintain test automation framework and scripts for end-to-end testsLog defects with clear reproduction steps and detail defect artifacts in GitlabCoordinate and participate in feature requirements review for testability, sign off on test strategyWork closely with developers to assist in debugging, testing, and development of tools to help identify defectsAvailable to help troubleshoot critical customer issues, including reproducing issues, analyzing application logs, or clarifying intended feature functionalityPerform automated and manual testing, including regression testing for each release cycle to ensure software meets business and security requirementsWhat are the required qualifications for a QA Automation Engineer?3+ years of experience in Test Automation or as a DeveloperProficient in UI automation using PlaywrightSelf-starter and quick learner with excellent communication, collaboration, reporting, analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong JavaScript or TypeScript development skills in testing and debugging softwareExperience with testing RESTful APIs using Postman orKnowledge of performance testing methodologies and tools like LocustFamiliar with continuous integration pipelines such as Gitlab, JenkinsExperience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines ( GitLab CI).A good understanding of different software testing techniques and when to apply themDeep commitment and passion for maintaining qualityStrong ability to collaborate with QA teams, developers, and other stakeholders.Ninja Perks and BenefitsCompetitive compensationAdherence to government-mandated benefitsRetirement Savings Program with Company MatchingLife InsuranceHMO on day 1Paid time off, birthday leaveBonus and incentive plansOpportunities for skills training and personal and professional developmentEmployee Referral ProgramExperience infinite fun so you can have infinite growth.
