QA & Business Analysis Lead

Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Analyst / Test Lead to oversee software quality assurance and testing functions for a global Core Banking environment. The role involves managing end-to-end testing processes across diverse financial modules such as payments, loans, deposits, guarantees, accounting, and credit risk systems deployed across multiple international business units.Mandatory Skill-setMust have 10+ years of experience, including 5–7 years in test leadership within banking or financial systems;Strong expertise in Payments and Cash Management applications;Must have hands-on experience with Payments Hub, Clearing, Settlement, and ACH processes;In-depth knowledge of ISO20022, SEPA, and SWIFT formats;Proven ability in System, Integration, E2E, Regression, and UAT testing.Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Defect Life Cycle.Must have experience in GPP-SP (Global PayPlus – Service Platform) testing;Proficient with JIRA and XRAY for test and defect management.Desired Skill-setExposure to Retail, Wholesale, and Corporate Banking systems;Knowledge of Corporate and Commercial Payments, International and Domestic Payments, Payment Factory/Hub, Correspondent Banking, ACH, Real-Time Payments, Cash and Liquidity Management, Compliance/AML, FX, and messaging (SWIFT and ISO);Experience working in Agile environments;Hands-on familiarity with data mapping, test automation frameworks, and reporting;Experience preparing test documentation such as UAT scripts, test scenarios, and test cases.ResponsibilitiesLead and manage software quality assurance across multiple platforms and teams to ensure delivery of high-quality applications;Define, review, and enhance test strategies and methodologies for continuous improvement;Coordinate and oversee system, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing phases across different project teams;Align test schedules, environments, and data between internal and external stakeholders;Review and approve test plans, results, and release documentation;Manage defect reporting, prioritization, and resolution tracking, ensuring timely communication with all stakeholders;Prepare and maintain comprehensive test libraries, including scenarios, cases, and results;Provide leadership and guidance to QA engineers, testers, and business analysts;Collaborate closely with development, operations, and vendor teams to ensure end-to-end quality and readiness;Maintain regular reporting on test progress, risks, and quality metrics;Ensure compliance with best practices in test governance and lifecycle management;Contribute to knowledge sharing, process improvement, and cross-team coordination in a global delivery setup.Should you be interested in this career opportunity, please send in your updated resume to apply@sciente.com at the earliest.When you apply, you voluntarily consent to the disclosure, collection and use of your personal data for employment/recruitment and related purposes in accordance with the SCIENTE Group Privacy Policy, a copy of which is published at SCIENTE’s website (https://www.sciente.com/privacy-policy).Confidentiality is assured, and only shortlisted candidates will be notified for interviews.EA Licence No. 07C5639
