Our mission is to provide high quality content and an outstanding user experience to the traveler on the one side and compliance and cost savings for the cooperate travel programs on the other side.POSITIONWe are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer to join our quality assurance team. This role is heavily focused on test automation (80%) with some manual testing responsibilities (20%). The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong logical thinking, objective decision-making skills, and extensive experience in web application automation testing.CHALLENGEKey ResponsibilitiesAutomation Testing (80%)Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites for web applicationsCreate and execute automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworksImplement continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) testing pipelinesPerform API testing automation and integration testingMaintain and enhance existing automation test suites for regression testingAnalyze test results and provide detailed reports on test coverage and quality metricsManual Testing (20%)Design test plans and test cases for the whole system.Conduct exploration testing for new features and functionalitiesPerform user acceptance testing and usability testingExecute manual test cases when automation is not feasible or cost-effectiveValidate complex business scenarios that require human judgmentGeneral ResponsibilitiesAnalyze requirements and create comprehensive test plans and test casesContinuously research and evaluate new testing tools and methodologiesGuide engineering team members on automation best practicesFOR THIS EXCITING MISSION YOU ARE EQUIPPED WITH...Technical Skills5+ years of experience in QA engineering with 3+ years of experience in test automation for web applicationsStrong experience with automation frameworks (Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG, JUnit, or similar)Knowledge of API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured, or similar)Familiarity with version control systems (Git, SVN)Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, DOM)Knowledge of test management tools (JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr, or similar)Experience with any programming languages is a PLUSCore CompetenciesStrong analytical and logical thinking - ability to break down complex problems systematicallyObjective decision-making skills - capability to evaluate situations impartially and make data-driven decisionsDetail-oriented mindset with focus on quality and accuracyProblem-solving abilities - creative thinking to overcome technical challengesProcess-oriented approach - understanding of software development lifecycle and testing methodologiesPreferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related fieldISTQB or other relevant testing certificationsPERSPECTIVELOCATION, MOBILITY, INCENTIVE
