QA Engineer (Banking Project)

Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for web and mobile banking applications.Review functional and technical specifications to identify test requirements and potential risks.Conduct system integration testing, UAT support, regression testing, and API testing.Maintain and enhance automation scripts using tools such as Selenium, TestNG, Postman, JMeter, or equivalent.Log, track, and validate defects using tools such as JIRA or similar platforms.Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, and Project Managers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality releases.Ensure test coverage for core banking modules (e.g., account, transaction, loan, payment, credit card, etc.).Prepare and maintain test documentation including test plans, test data, and test summary reports.Participate in production verification and post-deployment validation.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.2–3 years of experience as a QA Engineer (Manual & Automation).Proven experience in banking or financial system projects.Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle.Hands-on experience with automation tools (e.g., Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, Cucumber, or similar).Experience with API testing tools (Postman, Swagger) and performance testing tools (JMeter preferred).Familiar with SQL queries for database validation.Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.Able to work under minimal supervision and meet tight deadlines.
