Description & RequirementsWho we are looking forAs a QA Engineer, you’ll be the voice of quality from discovery to release: shaping test strategy, performing exploratory testing, validating APIs/data, and ensuring releases are safe, reliable, and user ready.Required Skills & Experience: 3+ years in QA for web/mobile products (consumer scale preferred). Solid test design (boundary, combinatorial, risk-based) and exploration testing craft. Hands-on with REST/GraphQL testing (Postman/Insomnia), OpenAPI reading. Comfort with HTML/CSS/JS fundamentals and browser devtools. Clear, concise documentation (test cases, charters, checklists). English C1+; effective in distributed, international teams. Nice to Have:Basic scripting (JavaScript/TypeScript or Python) for tooling and small automations. Accessibility checks (axe), basic performance profiling, analytics validation. Exposure to CI/CD and feature flags; mobile testing (Appium/XCTest/Espresso). Your future rolePlan quality early: define test strategies, acceptance criteria, and risk-based coverage with Product/Eng/Design. Test what matters: functional, integration, regression, and exploratory testing across web/mobile. API & data validation: verify REST/GraphQL contracts and payloads; read OpenAPI specs. Release readiness: smoke/sanity, test data, environments, go/no-go signals; support UAT. Defects → decisions: isolate issues, write high-signal bug reports, track to resolution, prevent regressions. Shift-left: pair on acceptance criteria/testability; contribute to lightweight checklists & heuristics.
