Check out this role and see if you’re a good match!Your territory As part of our Software Quality team, you will:Ensure the quality of mobile products and backend services relied on by millions of pet parents worldwideOwn the QA process across mobile platforms (iOS, Android) and their supporting backend systemsPlan, design, and execute manual test cases to ensure functional, usability, and regression coveragePerform end-to-end testing across mobile applications and APIs, ensuring seamless integration between client and serverCollaborate closely with product owners, developers, and designers to refine acceptance criteria and catch issues earlyContribute to automation efforts by identifying critical test cases suitable for automated coverageParticipate in the development of new features and products, from early design discussions to release validationAct as a quality advocate within agile development teams (Scrum/Kanban), driving quality best practices and risk-based testing approachesProactively improve our testing strategies, QA processes, and documentationBring in your fresh ideas to make Tractive better - you’ll never hear the phrase “...because that’s how we’ve always done things”Continuously grow personally and professionally, take ownership of areas that show your potential, and attend workshops which help you get to the next levelYour profileKey requirements:Proven experience in manual testing for mobile applications (iOS & Android) and their corresponding backend servicesStrong knowledge of API testing (REST/GraphQL) using tools like Postman or similarFamiliarity with test case design techniques, exploratory testing, and regression testing strategiesExperience collaborating in agile environments (Scrum or Kanban)Strong understanding of the bug lifecycle, defect management, and release testingExperience working with issue-tracking systems such as Jira or similarBasic familiarity with UI automation frameworks (e.g., Playwright, TestCafe, or mobile automation tools) is a plusStrong communication skills and excellent English skillsDoes this sound like you?You’re a bug hunter who loves finding edge cases others missYou’re passionate about delivering flawless mobile experiencesYou think critically, test creatively, and advocate for the userYou’re curious about new tools and testing approachesYou love working with cross-functional teams to build great productsExcited to work in Austria alongside an outstanding team
