QA engineer

Job DescriptionReviews technical specifications, drawings, procedures, and standard pertaining to the project requirementsPrepares and reviews the project quality documents, procedure, ITPReviews drawings, documents & weekly updated drawing register from document controller and distribute to project QA personnelAdministers the project internal quality audit to ensure compliance with the project quality planMonitors the inspection and documentation activities of QA Inspector to ensure complain with inspection test plan and project quality requirementsResolves quality related issues arising from sub-contractor and in-house productionPerforms E&I related Equipment and material inspection during receiving meet the purchase specificationsEnsures protection and preservation of Electrical & Instrument systemEnsures updates on electrical completion and mechanical completion progress at the project databaseLiaises with owners, class surveyors and government bodies pertaining to project requirementsCoordinates the testing/ commissioning requirements with Engineering, Project Manager, QA Department, and vendorsReports non-conformance and issues improvement note, where necessaryPerforms any other assigned duties and responsibilitiesJob RequirementsBachelor’s Degree in Naval Architecture / Marine and Offshore / Electrical Engineering or related engineering disciplinesAPI 570. CWSIP 3.1 Certified Welding InspectorAt least 3 years of relevant Quality Assurance working experience, preferably in the offshore and marine industryGood analytical and problem-solving skillsAble to multi-task and able to work in a fast-paced environmentFamiliar with loop test, hi pot test, mechanical completion checks ITR Location(s):Seatrium (SG) Pte.
