Are you up for the challenge?We are looking for a Mid/Senior QA Engineer to join our client’s growing team in Zielona Gora or Poznan, Poland, who will provide expertise in areas of manual and automation testing to improve practices, tools, and processes. They will work collaboratively across the entire engineering organization and help ensure best practices within the team.‍SkillsExperience:3+ years experience working in a QA position, writing manual and automated test cases, and performing testsFamiliarity with project management and bug tracking tools (e.g. JIRA, Testrail)An understanding and experience with Javascript (bonus points for experience with React JS)Knowledge and experience in using Cypress.io or other automation toolsExperience with Swagger or similar tools is a bonusSelf-sufficiency in managing work to meet goals and deadlinesExcellent English communication and the ability to effectively explain technical concepts in a clear and concise way‍What You'll Be Doing (daily/monthly Tasks)Improve the quality of our product through the design and implementation of automated unit, integration, and functional testsPerform a variety of manual tests including UI tests, regression tests, and exploratory testsExplore and help to implement automated test casesDemonstrate a strong understanding of test plans (test cases, test scenarios, testing cadence, and test execution)Proactively pursue the resolution of impediments to testingDesign and execute test plans to ensure code quality of releasesWrite detailed, high-quality bug, issue, and regression reports for issues encountered during testing and follow-up on them where neededCollaborate with product, design, and engineering to ensure accurate project executionThe OfferFully remote: work from wherever you wantRegular on-sites to bond and explore the world (3-4 a year of 2-3 weeks each)Personalized growth plan & mentorship for every employee (we mean it) + access to the world’s most prestigious entrepreneurship communityGreat range of perks and benefitsCompetitive compensation and meaningful equity along with a chance to make a significant contribution to changing the lives of millions of engineersSend us your CV and an introduction describing why you would be good for this job to hello@silvermine.io Only well written applications will be considered.
