QA Lead: an engineer who builds a quality system rather than looking for bugs

Customer trust, the accuracy of financial calculations, and the cost of support depend on product quality. QA here is not a final filter, but an engineering risk management system built into the product architecture itself.◾️ Area of responsibility: develop and implement an end-to-end QA strategy: from inception to product support; integrate QA gates into CI/CD (static checks, unit, API/UI smoke, contract testing); develop a production quality baseline: defect metrics, detection speed, flakiness, time-to-fix; reduce the feedback loop between development and testing to <1 day;ensure 70%+ coverage of critical scenarios by automated tests and ≥95% stability of runs; develop a transparent quality and risk reporting system (dashboards, metrics, SLA); build processes where QA is the responsibility of the entire team, not just “output control.◾️ Requirements: 8+ years in QA, including 2+ years in a Lead+ position; experience building QA processes from scratch or scaling existing systems; deep understanding of CI/CD, Test Pyramid, Shift-Left QA, Risk-Based Testing; practical experience in test automation (Java); understanding of the principles of financial and transactional systems (FinTech domains are welcome); skills in building and analyzing QA KPIs: defect density, DRE, MTTD, MTTR, test coverage, defect leakage;knowledge of ISO 29119 / GOST R 56920 standards and the ability to apply them in your work; language proficiency: Russian - C1, English - B2+◾️Terms and conditions: salary: $5000–6000 grossremote work (we do not consider candidates located in Russia or Belarus)flexible schedule a team of engineers who value expertise and responsibility
