QA Manager – Food Industry (Steenbergen, North Brabant)Salary: Up to €6,500 per monthLocation: Steenbergen, North Brabant, NetherlandsWorkplace Type: On-siteEmployment Type: Full-time | Direct and Permanent contractAre you a Quality Assurance professional ready to take the next step in your career?Join a major industrial bakery in Steenbergen as their new Quality Assurance Manager and play a key role in maintaining and improving food safety and quality standards for premium bakery products.You’ll lead a small team, collaborate with international colleagues, and help shape the company’s global Quality Assurance strategy.Your RoleAs QA Manager, you will oversee all aspects of quality assurance — from compliance and audits to team leadership and process optimization.Your mission is to ensure consistent product quality, safe practices, and regulatory compliance across the entire operation.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute the annual QA/QC plan in line with the European QA strategy.Design and implement quality systems and procedures that meet regulatory, customer, and corporate standards.Lead audits and inspections for IFS, GMP+, BRC, and client-specific certifications.Analyze quality data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives.Manage and coach a team of three QA/QC professionals, fostering development and accountability.Collaborate with cross-functional teams and international QA colleagues to harmonize global standards.What You BringBachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Quality Assurance, or a related discipline.5–7 years’ experience in QA within the food industry (bakery or confectionery preferred).Proven leadership and people management skills.Strong knowledge of IFS, BRC, HACCP, GMP and food safety regulations.Analytical, organized, and detail-oriented mindset with strong communication skills.Fluency in Dutch and English (written and spoken).What We OfferSalary: Up to €6,500 gross per month (based on experience).Contract: Direct and Permanent with the company.Work Model: Full-time, onsite (40h per week).Benefits:Travel allowance (€0.23/km for distances >5 km).25 vacation days (based on full-time schedule).Access to training and development opportunities.Additional benefits per CAO Zoetwaren.A positive and supportive work environment that values growth, work-life balance, and collaboration.Interested?Apply now by clicking “Easy Apply” and uploading your updated CV.
