QA/QC Engineer – ConstructionLocation: Jebel Ali, DubaiWorking Hours: Monday to Saturday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Sunday Off)Requirements:Immediate joiners or candidates available within 15–20 days are preferred.Salary range: AED 7,000 – 8,000 (up to AED 10,000 for strong profiles).Minimum 5 years of QA/QC experience in the UAE within the construction sector is mandatory.Role involves both site and office-based responsibilities.Job OverviewThe QA/QC Engineer will be responsible for ensuring all construction activities meet the required quality standards, documentation protocols, and compliance requirements. The role requires comprehensive experience in managing the full QA/QC cycle—not limited to site inspections.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Plan (PQP), Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, and all relevant QA/QC documentation.Conduct site inspections to ensure work is completed as per approved drawings, specifications, and industry standards.Review and approve material submittals, technical data sheets, method statements, and work procedures submitted by subcontractors or suppliers.Coordinate with consultants, clients, and internal teams for inspections, tests, approvals, and report submissions.Ensure strict compliance with international standards, local authority requirements, and project quality parameters.Identify and document non-conformities (NCRs), implement corrective and preventive actions, and ensure timely closure.Oversee and coordinate third-party testing such as concrete, steel, and welds, and review results for compliance.Maintain accurate records of inspections, testing, calibrations, and internal quality audits.Ensure all Quality Control Checklists are correctly completed at each construction stage.Lead or support internal quality audits, site quality walks, and periodic project quality reviews.Provide guidance and training to site teams on QA/QC procedures, documentation, and best practices.Assist in preparing and handing over as-built documents, test certificates, and the final project quality dossier.Important NoteThis role requires strong knowledge of the complete QA/QC process, including method statement preparation, QA/QC documentation, project costing awareness, and overall quality methodologies.It is not suitable for candidates whose experience is limited to routine site inspections or material approvals only.
