QA/QC Manager

Key ResponsibilitiesQuality Assurance & InspectionOrganize and manage inspection and monitor finishing, fit-out, and joinery works to ensure compliance with design specifications, approved materials, and workmanship standards.Conduct routine site inspections and prepare detailed QC reports, including non-conformance and corrective action reports.Verify and approve materials, mock-ups, and samples before installation.Ensure works conform to project quality plans, method statements, and ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans). Documentation & ReportingMaintain accurate and up-to-date QC records, inspection requests (IRs), and material inspection requests (MIRs).Prepare punch lists, snag lists, and ensure timely rectification of defects. Coordination & CommunicationCoordinate with project engineers, subcontractors, consultants, and clients on quality-related matters.Attend site meetings to discuss quality issues, progress, and corrective measures. Problem Solving & Continuous ImprovementIdentify quality issues early and propose practical solutions.Investigate root causes of defects or non-conformities and implement preventive actions.Recommend improvements to construction processes and quality systems. Qualifications & SkillsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field.Experience: Minimum 10-15 years of experience in quality control or site supervision of finishing, fit-out, and joinery works in construction or interior fit-out projects.Technical Skills; Strong knowledge of finishing materials, joinery details, and interior standards.Soft Skills:Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.Strong communication and coordination skills.Attention to detail and a proactive approach to quality management.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
