You will ensure raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods meet Ingredion’s quality, food safety, and regulatory standards. You will also coordinate audits, manage supplier compliance, and promote a culture of continuous improvement in quality and food safety.What You Will DoEstablish, implement, and maintain plant Quality and Food Safety Management Systems in compliance with Ingredion policies and international standards (FSSC 22000, HACCP, ISO, Halal, Kosher, etc.)Ensure raw materials and tapioca roots meet required quality and safety standardsLead internal audits, coordinate third-party audits, and manage corrective/preventive actionsOversee document control, GHPS, pest control, glass control, NCR management, and customer complaintsDevelop raw material specifications and receiving procedures in collaboration with purchasing and productionManage supplier evaluation, including assessment of audit reports and compliance with Ingredion requirementsTrain employees on quality, food safety, and GMP awarenessSupport implementation of safety activities and risk reporting related to food safety and workplace conditionsTrack and report plant quality KPIs in compliance with corporate reporting standardsSupport continuous improvement initiatives in quality, efficiency, and cost optimizationWhat You Will BringBachelor’s degree in Science, Biology, Biotechnology, Chemical Biology, Food Technology, Food Science, or related fieldAt least 2 years of supervisory or quality assurance experience in a manufacturing environmentProficiency in IPS, ISO 9001, ISO 17025, HACCP, and GFSI schemes (FSSC 22000, BRC, IFS, SQF); knowledge of Halal, Kosher, Organic standards a plusStrong knowledge of GMPs, auditing, sanitation, pest control, and food regulationsProficiency with Microsoft Office applicationsFluent in English communication (spoken and written)Who You AreStrong organizational and leadership skillsSkilled in problem solving, auditing, and corrective action managementEffective communicator with ability to influence and train across teamsCustomer-focused with the ability to balance compliance and operational needsCollaborative, detail-oriented, and committed to continuous improvementWhy Join Ingredion?Discover Why Ingredion Is The Ideal Place To Advance Your Quality Career With Our Exceptional Rewards And Development Opportunities.
