This is a key role for our team, as we currently don’t have a dedicated QA function you'll be the first and lead the setup of processes, team, and strategy.You’ll define our quality standards, lead hiring, and champion best practices in both manual and automated testing. You’ll work closely with developers, architects, DevOps, and product teams to ensure the scalability and reliability of our services across complex distributed systems.Responsibilities:Building and leading the QA team (manual + automation) within the Platform department.Defining and implementing full-cycle QA processes across all phases of the SDLC.Collaborating closely with engineering, DevOps, architects, and product teams.Establishing and enforcing QA best practices, documentation standards, and quality KPIs.Writing and overseeing the creation of test plans, checklists, test cases, and protocols.Reporting testing progress and quality status to stakeholders.Experience:5+ years in QA, with at least 2 years in a QA Lead or Senior role.Proven experience in high-load, distributed system environments.Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and test design techniques.Hands-on experience in backend and API testing (RESTful APIs).Experience with automation frameworks and CI/CD tools.Solid skills in test documentation: checklists, test cases, test plans.Experience working with Agile/Scrum teams.Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.Experience with logging and monitoring tools (e.g., Kibana, Grafana) is a plus.English: Upper-Intermediate or higherWould be a plus:Familiarity with microservices architecture, client-server systems.Experience with load/performance testing tools.Experience with tools like Playwright, Cypress, Postman, Swagger.Technical background or basic programming knowledge for backend automation.From our part, we are ready to provide you with our full and comprehensive support in order to successfully cope with this list of tasks.
