With millions of engaged members across Qantas Frequent Flyer, Qantas Business Rewards, and our growing portfolio of ventures, we're seeking a Senior Manager, Strategic Insights to join our Member & Program Analytics team.

As Senior Manager, Strategic Insights, you'll use your blend of analytical expertise and commercial thinking to lead the delivery of strategic insights that directly impact commercial outcomes and member engagement. Working within the Member & Program Tribe, you'll focus on complex analytics projects for our Airline Loyalty and Program Design squads, transforming vast datasets into compelling narratives that drive strategic decision-making. This role requires independent thought leadership and a curious mindset, with confidence in ambiguity and the ability to pare complex opportunities back to their core drivers.

You'll need to communicate effectively with different areas of the business, from squad leads to senior executives. The role demands both strategic thinking and hands-on analysis, ensuring insights are grounded in rigorous data work while driving meaningful business outcomes. This role offers leadership opportunity, sharing management of our 7-person analytics team. You'll partner with squad leads, managers, and senior Loyalty executives to identify and prioritise opportunities that impact EBIT and customer engagement. Beyond project delivery, you'll contribute to our analytics chapter leadership, helping shape our people development, knowledge management, and data strategy.

Multi-tasking with flexibility to meet stakeholder needs and deadlines across the business will be key to your success.

What You'll DoDevelop and deliver strategic insights that identify commercial opportunities and drive program evolutionPartner with stakeholders across squads and executive leadership to ensure data-driven decision makingLead complex analytics projects from hypothesis through to actionable recommendationsOversee vendor relationships and ensure quality delivery of external analytics programsTransform complex data analysis into clear, compelling stories that influence strategyContribute to analytics chapter leadership including capability development and tools strategyMentor and develop team members while fostering a culture of analytical excellenceWhat You'll Bring7-10+ years of experience in analytics, insights, strategy or consulting rolesAdvanced SQL skills with hands-on Teradata platform experienceProven expertise with Tableau for creating impactful data visualisationsStrategic thinking with strong commercial acumen and ability to connect insights to business valueExceptional stakeholder management skills across all organisational levelsTrack record of translating complex analysis into strategic recommendationsDegree in analytics, statistics, economics or related quantitative fieldExperience managing and developing analytics professionalsStrong capability of managing and prioritising several competing tasks for different stakeholdersKnowledge of customer segmentation and retention analyticsWhy this role is unique:
