Are you a strategic leader with a passion for aviation operations? Qantas is seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Operations Manager to oversee airport operations across key Southeast Asian ports. In this pivotal role, you’ll ensure regulatory compliance, drive operational excellence, lead ground handling partnerships, and manage strategic projects such as port start-ups and transitions. You’ll be instrumental in delivering safety, service, and performance outcomes while fostering a high-performing, customer-focused culture. If you thrive in a fast-paced, complex environment and bring over 5 years of senior operational experience in aviation, we’d love to hear from you.
You Will Bring5+ years of senior operational and managerial experience in a complex service environment and/or regulatory bodyTertiary qualifications in Business, Aviation, Safety or a related disciplineSolid working knowledge of Airport Operations, Qantas Safety, ICAO, CASA, DOTARS, IATA, and relevant authoritiesStrong communication and negotiation skills across all levels of service providers, managers, and staffDeep understanding of CASA regulations and current industry issuesAnalytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and data management expertiseThe Qantas employee benefits program offers amazing benefits that extend well beyond travel.
