QAQC Director (Local Vietnamese only)

Role PurposeEnsure projects are executed, inspected, and handed over in full compliance with state regulations, contractual requirements with contractors, and the quality standards committed to customers. The role safeguards Masterise Group’s reputation for delivering world-class developments.Key Responsibilities1. Standards & GovernanceLead the Quality Management function to develop policies, standards, and procedures tailored to different product segments of the company.Oversee implementation of approved standards and processes across business units to ensure compliance and alignment with company goals.Collaborate with cross-functional divisions and partners to build capabilities and resources for effective quality management.2. Compliance & AssuranceIndependently audit and evaluate project quality on a periodic basis, reporting directly to Division Directors and the Board of Management.Control construction execution by Project Management Units, consultants, and contractors, ensuring compliance with technical requirements, approved budgets, and project timelines.Approve materials, review shop drawings, monitor workmanship, and assess contractor/vendor capabilities.Verify and approve quality dossiers (IPC and authority submissions) within delegated authority.Provide independent assessments of on-site supervision and recommend corrective actions when necessary.Work with stakeholders to implement continuous improvement solutions for project quality.Consolidate and prepare quality reports for all projects to present to senior management and the Board.3. Operations & HandoverPartner with Customer Service and Operations teams to resolve client concerns during handover.Coordinate with Property Management and contractors to address operational defects during warranty, ensuring seamless resident experience.Support functional teams to troubleshoot design or construction issues impacting handover.4. Contracts & ProcurementReview and provide input on construction contracts, with a focus on quality control terms.Advise on technical criteria, material specifications, and vendor evaluation.5. Government & Regulatory LiaisonCoordinate with functional divisions in dealing with authorities such as the Ministry of Construction, Department of Construction, and other relevant agencies on quality-related matters.6. Cross-functional SupportProvide technical expertise to other departments when required.Job RequirementsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or MEP-related field.Experience: Minimum 12 years in construction management with at least 5 years in quality management leadership roles.
