Position SummaryPonticelli Frères, which is an industrial group with international activities providing technical to companies in the oil and gas industry, is looking for a QAQC Manager, based in its subsidiary in Nigeria.The selected applicant will have to carry out the following activities:QAQC ActivityManage and oversee project quality to ensure compliance to codes, standards, regulations, equipment specific specifications, and QMS requirementsAdvancing quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organizationManaging the development and implementation of the QMS for planning, fabrication, inspection, documentation, and operations activities including:Planning duties within the QA/QC staff and related work schedules;Establishing service standards for end users (i.e., internal department or external customer)Identifying and developing QA/QC personnel certification requirements and continuing education/training needsProviding leadership, mentorship, and direction of all QA/QC personnel.Taking full responsibility for hold-point releases once all QMS functions have been completed and the equipment is ready to go into the next work stageDeveloping and implementing risk-based inspection (RBI) activities and processesManaging plant integrity through a failure analysis reporting system and following up on recommendationsOversee supervision of all visual inspections and NDE, including 3rd party subcontractorsManaging inspection, NDE, and testing plans for new construction, repair work, and alterationsIdentify and develop solutions to correct inspection function deficienciesManage construction processes, plant equipment, inspection and NDE personnel certification and QMS internal audits.Welding activityManagement of all welding procedures and qualifications and testingAnalyse welding requirements for specific projects ensuring the any already approved in house procedures are acceptable and generate new procedures specific to project requirements and needsResponsibility for the coordination of multiple projects and managing external test laboratories and Classification societies and Notified bodies with regard to welding procedures their approvals and testingProvide technical support with industry standards and specifications such as ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, AWS, BS EN, plus any other relevant standards which may be requiredManagement and control of all materials and consumables for welder testing and proceduresCoordinate failure analyses and root cause analysis on welding related issues if requiredSet up and control and maintenance of a welder data base.Profile WantedAbility to communicate effectively both orally and in writing through memos and engineering reportsMinimum of 5 years of experience in a similar roleEnglish mandatoryRotation : 9x3
