This position provides great opportunities for growth for candidates with a strong background in molecular biology and biochemistry. There are a variety of assays the QC Analyst will use to support the characterization of enzymes and reagents across our product portfolio. In addition to executing core QC processes, the individual will be increasingly responsible for the validation and verification of new assays, and implementation of new internal processes and support assay development. This position reports to the QC Manager and will interface closely with many aspects of quality control, manufacturing, logistics, process development, and research and development.The successful candidate will thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced working environment and contribute directly to our company culture and success. The position provides an opportunity to gain valuable experience spanning many business facets to complement a strong technical background.ResponsibilitiesExecution, documentation, and analysis of routine QC processesExecution of method validation and verifications, and support assay development activitiesParticipate in QC technology transfer activitiesEnsuring analytical data is well defined, accurate, reproducible, and completed timeouslyProvide detailed observations from the analysis of data and accurate interpretation of resultsStock controlAdherence to equipment monitoring, calibration and maintenanceMaintain good laboratory practices to ensure quality and safety within QC.Participation in cross-functional teams to resolve product quality issues, investigations, corrective actions and develop/implement in-process improvementsSkills And RequirementsExperience in biotech and a start-up environment are highly desirable.
