🔧 Hiring: QC Mechanical Engineer – Power Projects📍 Samarkand Region, UzbekistanJoin a leading energy project team ensuring world-class mechanical quality standards across power and industrial infrastructure. As a QC Mechanical Engineer, you’ll oversee inspection, testing, and verification of piping, rotating/static equipment, and structural systems to guarantee compliance with international and project-specific requirements.What you’ll do:Monitor and control the quality of mechanical works, including piping, HVAC, tanks, and rotating/static equipment.Conduct inspections and witness pressure tests, alignment checks, and welding inspections per approved ITPs.Review QA/QC documentation including method statements, weld logs, and test reports.Verify material traceability, storage, and preservation of mechanical items and consumables.Oversee erection and inspection of equipment such as turbines, compressors, pumps, and pressure vessels.Witness and review NDT activities, hydrotests, and mechanical reinstatement inspections.Identify non-conformities, raise NCRs, and ensure corrective/preventive actions are implemented.Coordinate closely with engineering, construction, and commissioning teams to resolve quality issues.Ensure compliance with ASME, API, AWS, and ISO standards as well as Uzbek regulatory requirements.Prepare inspection reports, daily quality logs, and progress documentation for final handover.What we’re looking for:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.5–8 years’ experience in mechanical QA/QC for power or industrial EPC projects.Certifications such as CSWIP 3.1, ASNT Level II, or ISO 9001 preferred.Proficient in reading P&IDs, mechanical drawings, and technical specifications.Strong understanding of ASME Sec I, V, VIII, IX; API 650/686; and AWS D1.1/D1.6.Experience with piping systems (CS, SS, HDPE, GRE) and static/rotating equipment installation.Excellent documentation and reporting discipline, with strong coordination skills.Fluent in English and Uzbek; Russian is an advantage.Committed to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.📩 Apply now and help ensure mechanical excellence and reliability across one of Uzbekistan’s flagship energy projects in Samarkand.
