QC/QA/FOOD SAFETY MANAGER/R & D TECHNOLOGIST, WESTERN CAPER420-600 000 tctcND/ B. Tech/ B. Sc. Food Sc/ Tech; MS Office/OMNI Acc.. 5-10 Yrs exp.QMS/ FSMS / R & D of food/ fresh produce/vegetables/fruit/ dairy products. Must have strong knowledge of food safety regulations/ QC systems/ manufacturing standards/ ability to develop/ implement new food formulations. Have analytical/problem solving / teamwork/ documentation/ communication/ organisational skills/ can work under pressure/ meet deadlines/ display attention to detail. Must develop/ support implementation/ improve/ ensure compliance with food legislation/ quality specs/ ISO 9000/ housekeeping/ ISO 14000/ food safety/ FSSC 22000 of food raw/ packaging materials/ final products. Oversee QC SOPs throughout production /ensure consistent product standards/ do CI/ ensure safeguarding docs/ quality data/ do internal audits/ oversee external audits/ do supplier audits/ liaise with them to ensure raw/ packaging material quality / RCA/ CA/ PA. Provide training/ guidance to junior staff in QMS/FSMS/ formulation /production processes/ support production teams with technical expertise/ trouble-shooting. Monitor market trends/ conduct research on ingredients/ processing methods/ packaging solutions/ propose innovative product ideas/ process improvements/ develop/ optimise food products/ formulations/ packaging according to company/ client objectives/ manage product trials/ shelf-life testing/ sensory evaluation/ costing/ document all tests/ trials/ processes accurately.
