Join a team that’s building a cleaner future—locally and globally.We are looking for a QHSE Manager for the Southeast Asia Region, based out of our Makati office in Manila, Philippines. This position will have a regional scope, overseeing both construction and operational assets across the Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam. The QHSE Manager will report directly to the Country Manager and functionally to the QHSE Director and Sustainability Director. The role’s main mission is to ensure the implementation and continuous improvement of Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) standards in alignment with Acciona Energía’s Integrated Management System and corporate policies.Main Responsibilities:Strategy & PlanningDefine and implement the regional QHSE strategy in line with corporate guidelines and propose annual objectives.Develop and maintain the Integrated Management System (IMS) aligned with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.Ensure QHSE requirements are embedded into project planning and operational procedures.Implementation & SupervisionOversee the execution of QHSE plans during both construction and operational phases.Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and O&M teams to ensure compliance with QHSE standards.Supervise inspections and internal/external audits, ensuring proper documentation and control of QHSE records.Ensure correct implementation of IMS tools such as MAP, ENABLON, WORLDLEX, and TDOC (or similar).Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses, ensuring corrective actions are implemented and tracked.Monitoring & ReportingTrack and analyze QHSE KPIs, non-conformities, and events, including:Quality metrics and non-conformity costProject quality control progress (Construction & O&M)Supplier QSE performanceIMS indicators and environmental metrics (energy, water, waste)Safety indicators, including frequency rates and proactive/reactive KPIsMonitor compliance with local regulations and international standards.Report performance and key metrics to regional and corporate stakeholders.Continuous ImprovementPromote a culture of safety, quality, and environmental responsibility across all teams.Identify and implement improvement opportunities in QHSE processes.Support QHSE training and awareness programs for staff and contractors.Required Skills and Experience:Minimum 5 years of experience in QHSE roles within the construction and/or energy sectorExperience in leading teams, preferably across different countriesBachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent is preferredTraining in QHSE Management Systems (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001), Risk Assessment, Incident Investigation, and Project ManagementAvailability to travel regularly to project sites (approximately twice per month for 2–3 days each visit).Why join ACCIONA Energía?Take on a role with a clear purpose and mission, contributing to a more sustainable and resilient world.
