Job DetailsJob Title: QHSE ManagerLocation: No. 43 Street 38, An Khanh Ward, HCMCWork Arrangement: OnsiteAbout The RoleThis is a full-time on-site role for a QHSE Manager located in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The QHSE Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) programs in accordance with company policies, industry best practices, and legal requirements. This role ensures a safe workplace and promotes a culture of continuous improvement inquality and compliance.Key ResponsibilitiesMandatory experience in chemical regulatory consulting, including registrations and product licensing, to ensure market access and compliance.Ensure full compliance with local Vietnamese regulations and international standards in QSHE and product stewardshipImplement and maintain ISO/ Ecovadis and internal audit systems for quality and safety across facilities.Serve as the primary liaison with regional QSHE to align strategic initiativesDrive training programs and awareness campaigns for employees in health, safety, and environmental areasLead emergency response planning and hazardous material handling protocolsCoordinate with internal departments and external authorities for timely submissions, inspections, and compliance updatesDevelop and implement QHSE policies and procedures in accordance with local, national, and international regulations and standards.Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential hazards, non-compliance issues, and areas for improvement (included warehouse).Work with management and operational teams to establish measurable QHSE objectives, targets, improve safety and quality performance.Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses to determine root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions.Monitor and analyze QHSE performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.Maintain documentation and records related to QHSE activities, including incident reports, inspection findings, and corrective actions.Liaise with regulatory agencies, customers, and other stakeholders on QHSE matters as required.Participate in risk assessments and hazard identification activities for new projects, processes, and facilities.Promote a culture of continuous improvement in QHSE performance through communication, training, and recognition programs.Manage the company’s ISO certificationsOther tasks have been assigned by the line manager.Skills Solid understanding of industry-specific regulations and standards. Knowledge of Environment Health and Safety (EHS) standards Experience in developing and implementing safety protocols Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment In-depth knowledge of Vietnamese regulatory frameworks, including chemical import/export, GHS classification, and SDS requirements Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and communicate effectively across regional teams Strong familiarity with international standards (e.g ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OSHA)Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, chemical engineering or a related field, due to the specific nature of the industry. Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a QHSE management role, preferably in the food manufacturing/chemical industry.
